**Job Title**: ICU & OT Nurse

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities:ICU Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Provide critical care for patients with severe or life-threatening conditions in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess vital signs, neurological status, and other key health indicators.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and intravenous fluids as directed by physicians.
- Ensure the proper functioning of ICU equipment such as ventilators, ECG monitors, infusion pumps, etc.
- Recognize early signs of complications and provide immediate intervention when necessary.
- Provide comfort and support to patients and their families, explaining care procedures and treatment plans.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work in collaboration with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other medical staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Assist in the coordination of diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging, for ICU patients.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, care notes, and medication administration.
- Ensure all actions comply with hospital protocols, patient confidentiality, and regulatory standards.

**OT Responsibilities**:

- **Pre-Operative Care**:

- Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring they are in a stable condition and providing pre-operative education.
- Ensure all necessary instruments, medications, and equipment are sterilized and ready for use in the OT.
- **Intra-Operative Care**:

- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and managing patient positioning.
- Monitor the patient's vital signs throughout the surgical procedure.
- **Post-Operative Care**:

- Provide immediate post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, controlling pain, and ensuring vital signs stabilize.
- Assist in transferring patients from the OT to recovery rooms or ICU if required.
- Educate patients and their families regarding post-surgery care and discharge instructions.

**General Duties**:

- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, surgeons, anesthetists, and physiotherapists to ensure holistic patient care.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to all infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in both the ICU and OT.
- Ensure the safe handling and disposal of medical waste and hazardous materials.
- **Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated on the latest medical practices, equipment, and technologies used in ICU and OT care.
- Participate in in-house training programs to improve nursing skills and knowledge.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- **B.Sc. Nursing** or **Diploma in Nursing (GNM)**.
- Registered Nurse with the **Maharashtra Nursing Council**.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum **2 years of experience** working in both **ICU and OT** settings.
- Hands-on experience with critical care equipment, ventilators, ECG monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Experience assisting in surgeries and providing post-operative care is a must.
- **Skills**:

- Strong clinical skills in both intensive care and surgery settings.
- Knowledge of ICU and OT protocols, including infection control and patient safety.
- Excellent ability to monitor and assess critically ill patients.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and the medical team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- **Shift Requirements**:

- Must be flexible and willing to work in **rotational shifts** (day, night, and weekend shifts).
- **Language Requirements**:

- Fluency in **Hindi** and **Marathi**; **English** proficiency is a plus.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
