Overall supervision of all OT’s
- Making sure that adequate manpower in each shift.
- Making necessary adjustments to the staff distribution, and posting additional staff as and when required.
- Orientation and training of nurses.
- Assist development of patient care standards, especially procedures and protocols.
- Ensure proper organization, direction, supervision and efficiency of OT.
- Verify documentation of nursing staff and maintenance of OT records.
- Enforce discipline among all the Staffs in OT.
- Evaluation of staff and their performance appraisal.
- Stock maintenance and verification.
- Responsible for all instruments and equipments in OT.
- Infection control of OT.
- Liaison with HOD-OT, other Departmental Heads and In Charge Nurses of other unit.
