As a Logistics Executive at MM Mithaiwala Pvt Ltd, located in Malad West, Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in managing both the logistics and packaging aspects of our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient transportation of goods and overseeing the packaging processes to maintain the quality and integrity of our products.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Logistics Management**:

- Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods from production facilities to distribution centers, retail outlets, and customers.
- Schedule and optimize delivery routes to minimize transit times, transportation costs, and environmental impact.
- Liaise with transportation providers, including carriers, freight forwarders, and courier services, to arrange pickups, deliveries, and shipments.
- Monitor shipment status, track delivery progress, and address any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Implement inventory management systems and processes to track stock levels, manage warehouse space, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- **Packaging Supervision**:

- Oversee the packaging processes to ensure the proper handling, labeling, and presentation of our products.
- Collaborate with packaging suppliers to source high-quality materials and designs that meet our product specifications and branding requirements.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of packaged goods to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and packaging standards.
- Optimize packaging processes to minimize waste, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency while maintaining product quality and freshness.
- Train packaging staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**:

- Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory management teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies required for production and packaging.
- Monitor inventory levels, track consumption rates, and reorder materials as needed to maintain adequate stock levels and support uninterrupted operations.
- Analyze supply chain data and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and performance optimization.
- **Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, packaging standards, and transportation laws applicable to the food industry.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of packaging facilities, storage areas, and transportation vehicles to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and quality requirements.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain the freshness, taste, and appearance of our products throughout the packaging and transportation process.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry associations to stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices.
- **Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Lead a team of logistics coordinators, packaging specialists, and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and high performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the logistics and packaging department.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to align logistics and packaging strategies with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective support for logistics and packaging operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field would be preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics management, packaging supervision, or supply chain coordination, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, packaging standards, and transportation laws applicable to the food sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
