backup management and storage management Key Responsibilities Duties Maintain and update current monitoring system
- Opsview Open source Nagios Zabbix Ensure that all Managed systems are properly monitored adjusting as needed
- Develop methodology to expand flexibility of programs and systems to meet the changing needs of departments without a major redesign of the systems at a later date Define procedures to satisfy these needs including but not limited to SLAs and Usage Policy Create and maintain system component
- descriptions active tracking of current and future license needs and renewals for software and maintenance

**Primary Skills**:

- Bachelor s Degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science
- At least 3 years work experience in IT related profession
- Knowledge on Linux Unix and Windows Operating Systems
- Programming knowledge with PERL PYTHON and BASH Scripting
- Knowledge about JSON Preferred Qualifications In depth technical and functional knowledge of computer systems hardware and software concepts practices and procedures including configuration installation maintenance and upgrades Education and Professional experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts of Computer
- Systems Administration Problem solving skills Knowledge of Best Practical s Opsview Open source Nagios Zabbix Systems administration in both Unix Linux and Windows environments
- Ability to work occasionally under high stress Ability to act as technical or functional expert of the work group with hands on experience
- Working knowledge of network concepts systems protocols directory services for both Windows and Linux Unix operating systems Ability to solve highly technical or complex problems Recommend changes in procedure where necessary Skilled in PERL scripting PHP and C C programming languages Basic analytic tools such as spreadsheets or statistical packages Knowledge of MySQL
