Job Title: Transport & Logistic Executive

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic planning for logistics and transportation
- Transportation Coordination: Plan, manage, and oversee the transportation of goods from

suppliers to customers, ensuring efficient routing and timely delivery.
- Inbound and outbound logistics: For sending material to diff. vendors for various

operations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party transportation providers (carriers, freight

forwarders) to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, regional, and

international regulations, including customs documentation and safety standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules,

invoices, and transportation costs. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and cost

analysis.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any transportation or delivery-related issues,

including delays, damage, or discrepancies.
- Budget Control (Cost optimization): Monitor transportation costs and work on strategies to

reduce expenses while maintaining service quality. Manage supply to multiple sites within

the budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse teams, suppliers, and other departments to

ensure smooth coordination and efficiency in logistics operations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by tracking shipments, answering

inquiries, and providing updates to clients on delivery status.
- Understanding the supply plan and product to be supplied.
- Co-ordinate with design, purchase, production and projects to decide the truck type, size

and number of trucks.
- Co-ordinating Unloading and storage of material at site.
- Handling statutory requirement at site for gate entry, working methods, Safety at site.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Diploma in mechanical engineering with experience in supply chain and logistics will be

preferred.

Experience:

- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.

3-4 years’ experience as Site executive in engineering industry

One years’ experience in conveyor / automation industry will be preferred.

Competency / Specific skill & Knowledge:

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Documentation.
- Basic knowledge of equipment used for site unloading.
- Knowledge of safety and statutory required for transportation.
- MS office
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and

supply chain practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make decisions to

optimize transportation and logistics operations.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in managing shipments, documentation,

and cost tracking.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced

environment.

Preferred:

- Certifications: Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CILT) is a

plus.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages may be beneficial, depending on

geographical scope.
- Knowledge of Local Regulations: Familiarity with local transportation laws and customs

requirements in the region of operation.

- Resident of Navi Mumbai preferred.

Current CTC:
Salary Expected:
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
