**About Population First**:
Population First (PF) is a not-for-profit, social impact organisation registered in March 2002 under the

Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.

**Key Objective**:
To work towards gender-sensitive and social development-oriented health and population programmes.

**Approach**:
To promote gender sensitivity and gender equality through:

- Enhancing awareness of gender, health, population and social development issues.
- Mobilizing community participation in population, health and social development programs
- Building Public-Private Partnerships for program and policy development and implementation
- Working with influencers in media and advertising to change mindsets related to girls’ and women’s rights and gender equality.

**Position Summary**:
We seek a Project Officer to support Population First’s Leadership team, specifically the CEO and

Programme Director, in organising and streamlining their project-related responsibilities and support the

CEO, the Programme Director and the Laadli Coordinator for the various training programmes and events organised throughout the year. To succeed in this role, you should be well-organized, a quick learner, have excellent time management and organisational skills, and have good communication skills. You should be able to act without guidance. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of project implementation by providing personalised and timely support to the leadership team and organising events and programmes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the point of contact among the leadership team, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the CEO’s calendars, project management tools and set up meetings
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the leadership team as well as for the participants of our events
- Take minutes during meetings.
- Manage logistics for events.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Graduate/Postgraduate
- Entry level
- 2 years of relevant work experience

**Desired Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Data management skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

- Thane, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
