Key responsibilities of a 4-wheeler service advisor:

- **Customer interaction**:Greet customers, listen to their concerns about their vehicle, and accurately document issues.
- **Diagnosis and repair planning**:Consult with technicians to determine necessary repairs, explain the problem to customers in understandable terms, and propose repair options.
- **Estimate generation**:Provide detailed repair estimates including parts, labor costs, and potential warranties, ensuring transparency with customers.
- **Scheduling appointments**:Manage service schedules, booking appointments, and coordinating vehicle drop-off and pick-up times.
- **Communication with technicians**:Clearly communicate customer concerns and repair needs to technicians, and follow up on repair progress.
- **Upselling and additional services**:Recommend additional maintenance services, parts upgrades, or packages based on vehicle needs.
- **Warranty processing**:Verify warranty coverage for repairs and handle warranty claims.
- **Customer follow-up**:Contact customers after repairs are completed to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- **Billing and payment processing**:Prepare repair invoices, handle customer payments, and address any billing inquiries.

Required skills for a 4-wheeler service advisor:

- **Excellent communication skills**: Clearly explain complex technical information to customers in a way they can understand.
- **Technical knowledge**: Basic understanding of automotive systems, components, and common repairs.
- **Customer service skills**: Ability to build rapport with customers, manage expectations, and resolve complaints.
- **Salesmanship**: Promote additional services and products to enhance customer value.
- **Organizational skills**: Effectively manage multiple customer appointments and repair orders simultaneously.
- **Computer proficiency**: Utilize dealership management systems to access customer records, generate estimates, and track repair progress.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
