**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that the all bills are passed and payments made in time and the same are properly accounted for. Also responsible for Fixed Assets accounting for the zone.

**Job Context & Major Challenges**:
Cement is a core industry. The industry is in robust growth stage where currently demands exceed supply, however entry of MNCs is a major threat. The ownership of the industry is in consolidation stage with the top 2 producer accounts for 60 % of the capacity. The product is highly sensitive to power, fuel and freight cost which are known as major value drivers for this business.
ABGCement Business comprising of Grasim Industries Limited & Ultra Tech Cement is a leading name in the Indian Cement industry with an installed capacity of about 31.2 million tonnes per annum. The company has production facilities at 11 locations spread across the country. Cement Marketing division was established in January 1999 now headquartered at Mumbai with five Zonal offices and many regional offices under the zonal offices.

Job Specific:
The job is extremely important as it is expected to maintain proper books of Accounts, Bill Passing etc.
The challenge for the job is:
a) To pass and pay the bills within 7 days of receipt of the same and accounting them correctly.
b) To keep control over expenses and prepare periodic variance reports as compared to budget.
Statutory Compliance w rt TDS on salary, FBT etc

**KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)**

- KRA1- Passing of Vendor and Employees Bills- 1 To pass all Vendors and employee related bills within 7 days of receipt of the same.
2 Processing of Salary.
Ensuring Proper Accounting of expenses under proper accounting heads- KRA2- General ledger scrutiny & its analysis- 1. To do General Ledger Scrutiny wrt
2. Periodic review of loans & advances.- KRA3- Preparation of Provision Statements- 1. To prepare monthly provision statements.
2. Prepare variance analysis for expense and identify areas of improvement.- KRA4- Fixed Assets Accounting- To ensure that all Assets of the company are properly accounted for.- KRA5- Statutory Compliances- To ensure statutory compliance w rt Service Tax, Income Tax, FBT etc.**Qualifications**:
Bachelor Of Commerce,Master Of Commerce

**Minimum Experience Level**:
4-8 Years
