**Service > Global Service Supply Chain > SSCBP GRO** Global Repair Operation Support department is focused on receiving the defective DEF (Defective) items in the system and move the items towards the repair site/vendor to enable the repair of the item. The Repaired (REN) item will be then worked with service order creator for consumption. The major tasks revolves around the reverse supply chain on coordination from the turbine sites to warehouse to repair warehouse. **Responsibilities** - The Professional should be able to lead and manage a team of 4-6 repair buyers (regional & global) and work with GRO Global RSM team and SSCBP GRO team to drive the Repair, Resuse and Recycle initiatives of Global Repair Organisation. - The Professional should be able to run the reapir buying operation and guide the team members - He/She should be able to participate, drive discussions on the process standardization, improvement initiatives and play a pivotal role in setting up this greenfield Repair Buying Team in SSCBP-GRO. - Review the REN demand, coordinate with the other SCM analyst on the availability of DEF (Defective)components towards repair. - He/She should be a leader and should be able to work cohesively with people across the globe and across the supply chain. - He/She should be able to find and hire right talents and coach them to perform and grow in the organisation. - Coordinate with respective stakeholders to ensure healthy DEF flow is there for repair and vendor performance is evaluated and reported. - Bring ideas to improve the REN utilization, Savings and support on sustainable environment. - Support REN Supply Plan and forecast fulfilment of SIOP - Monthly/ Weekly performance reporting on the Key Metrics with internal and external stakeholders - Bi-Weekly connect with Key stake holders in order to review the progress and discuss future actions. **Qualifications** - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology - Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile with 7+ years experience in supply chain operations, procurement, buying etc., **Competencies** - Supply chain experience in Global environment, especially in Buying operations, Demand Planning, Forecasting and Inventory planning and People Management - Advanced Excel skills with experience in creating Macros. - Supply chain certification on APICS CPIM or any Procurement certifications would be a added advantage. - Knowledge of SAP is a must. - Large data Analytical skill and hands on experience in SQL, Power B would be an added advantange **What We offer** **Additional Information** The work location is in Chennai, India. **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
