The technician must be able to install and configure the printer on the network. If the printer needs parts to keep it operational, a technician is responsible for the maintenance. It can include ordering and installing the components on the machine.

The Printer Repair Technician should be well-versed with the functionality to explain the equipment operation better to the customer. They have to assess the equipment to identify the source of the problem, suggest solutions and other corrective actions. It is the responsibility of the Printer Technician to attend to dispatch calls and follow up the dispatch procedures.

The technician will have to directly interact with the customers before the site visit. This will help the professional to ensure corrective measures are taken to rectify it.

He has to maintain a positive relationship with the customers. He has to attend the periodical Company’s in-house training sessions and keep himself updated with the technology advancements.

The professional will have to take care of the basic connectivity issues related to the printer and printing. He has to be in constant touch with the service management to keep track of the customer issues. The Technician has to manage a daily service call activity. The technician should manage and maintain onsite inventory.

The Printer Technician is responsible for the servicing and repairing of the printers. The Printer should look into the basic refurbishment to a pre-defined specification. It is a part of their job profile to perform Label Format design with all its features. He has to fix the Printing issue and Printer device if any issues occur. The professional should set appointments and communicate issues such as estimated time for task completion, status updates, and potential problems. The Printer Technician must showcase high-quality standards by giving reliable results. The additional responsibilities include:

- Prior experience in handling Thermal printer repair and maintenance
- Analyze and resolve any technical issues related to Thermal Printing systems, hardware, and Printing peripherals
- Must be available to provide on-site servicing and rectify the Thermal printers
- Proper knowledge of Thermal Printers
- Record, upgrade and replace hardware and software systems
- Offer technical support for activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems
- Install and reinstall software packages and updates
- Be able to recognize, research, isolate, resolve, and follow-up on problems
- Handle all administrative aspects within the time limit
- Provide feedback that includes customer information and usage reports for the printer
- Must be able to solve problems, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, understand and interpret technical terms
