**PROFILE INTRODUCTION**:
A Total Station Surveyor is a professional who uses advanced surveying equipment called total stations to measure angles, distances, and elevations on construction sites, mapping projects, and other land surveying tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
**Data Collection**: Use total station equipment to measure angles, distances, and elevations on construction sites and other surveying projects.

**Mapping and Surveying**: Create precise maps, plans, and drawings based on the collected data. This includes topographic maps, boundary surveys, and construction layouts.

**Site Analysis**: Conduct site analysis to identify suitable locations for construction, considering factors like slope, soil quality, and existing structures.

**Coordinate Measurement**: Establish reference points and markers, ensuring accurate measurements and proper alignment for construction and engineering projects.

**Data Processing**: Process and interpret survey data using specialized software to generate digital maps and three-dimensional models.

**Quality Control**: Verify the accuracy of survey data and measurements to ensure reliable results for engineering and construction purposes.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and execution.

**Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of survey data, including measurements, calculations, and maps, for future reference and project documentation.

**Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure total station equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate and reliable measurements.

**Safety**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites, including the use of personal protective equipment and following safety procedures.

**Requirements**:
**Education**: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

**Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating total station equipment and surveying software. Knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS software is often beneficial.

**Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and data collection.

**Communication**: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

**Physical Fitness**: Surveyors may need to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate challenging terrains, so good physical fitness is essential.

**Certification**: Obtaining a professional surveyor license or certification may be required, depending on the jurisdiction and the nature of the work.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
