Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of products at various stages of production, including visual, mechanical, and chemical tests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly quality reports to the Quality Manager.
- Investigate non-conformance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure that production processes comply with internal and external quality standards, including industry regulations, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of quality-enhancing initiatives.
- Provide training to production staff on quality standards, inspection methods, and safety procedures.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring all required documents and evidence are available for review.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing plant (GI plant experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001) and other quality certifications.
- Knowledge of the galvanizing process, coating techniques, and related quality standards is preferred.
