**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of the dining area and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role involves leading the service team, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring that guests receive top-quality service in a warm and welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
l **Guest Interaction**: Greet and welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and ensure they have a positive dining experience. Address guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.

l **Service Excellence**: Supervise the service team (waiters, stewards) to ensure all food and beverages are served on time and meet the restaurant's standards. Ensure proper table settings and cleanliness.

l **Team Leadership**: Lead and motivate the service team, ensuring they are well-trained in both product knowledge and customer service. Conduct regular training and briefings to improve service quality.

l **Order Management**: Coordinate between the kitchen and the dining staff to ensure that orders are served accurately and in a timely manner. Help manage workflow during peak hours.

l **Complaint Resolution**: Handle customer feedback, complaints, and any issues that arise during service, ensuring a positive resolution.

l **Up-selling**: Promote the restaurant’s specials, signature dishes, and beverages to maximize revenue. Train staff in suggestive selling techniques.

l **Inventory and Supplies**: Assist in maintaining inventory levels for beverages, cutlery, and other essentials. Report low stock items and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.

l **Hygiene and Safety**: Ensure adherence to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations in the dining area.

l **Reports**: Prepare daily reports on service quality, sales, and customer feedback to the restaurant manager.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Captain, Senior Waiter, or Supervisor in a high-end restaurant, ideally in a South Indian fine dining setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of South Indian cuisine is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Must be flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
