**Job description**

Please find the job description of the Chief Compliance Officer.

**Core Compliance**
- Lead the Compliance Function for the Company and strengthen the Compliance culture in the organization.
- Ensuring that the company is in Compliance with the relevant guidelines issued by various regulators in respect of the assigned credit and retail assets functional areas, including Compliance Reviews
- Review new products, procedures, and system implementation which will result in all the activities of the bank being compliant with all the regulatory and statutory requirements as also the internal procedures, processes and policies laid down by the Board
- To carry out Compliance testing as per the approved annual compliance testing plan.
- To provide consultation / timely clarifications on various regulatory matters within the organisation with respect to assigned functional areas

**Risk-Based Supervision**
- Understanding the regulatory requirements under Risk Based Supervision and providing support to the concerned unit heads in Compliance.
- Understanding various data points pertaining to Risk Based Supervision submissions.
- Monitor timely and comprehensive actions taken by respective functions to ensure compliance with the observations in regulatory/statutory inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance related to other statutes like CERSAI, CIBIL, Cash Transaction Reporting, direct & indirect taxation, Companies Act & other relevant compliance
- Compile and submit data as and when required by the NHB. Assist during NHB Inspection and submit the replies to NHB and follow up on actionable as required.

**Experience Profile**:

- CA/CS/PGDM experience with 5+ years of work experience
- NBFC/HFC experience a must
