We're looking for a UX Researcher to join our growing design team in Chennai, India. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on product design by helping us better understand our users and their needs through in-depth research and user-driven insights.

**Role Overview**

As a UX Researcher, you'll support the UX research team in conducting a variety of user research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, information architecture analysis, and data analytics. You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to help translate research findings into actionable insights that shape the direction of our products.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing user research to inform product and design decisions
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies
- Analyze data and synthesize insights to present findings clearly to cross-functional teams
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to communicate user needs and pain points
- Support the UX research team in managing research timelines, recruiting participants, and organizing research logistics
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to identify research goals and create research plans
- Help maintain and organize the research repository, ensuring that research insights are easily accessible to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX research

**Qualifications**
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5+ years of experience in UX research, user-centered design, or a related role
- A robust portfolio demonstrating past projects, with examples of both qualitative and quantitative studies that resulted in impactful changes to product design
- Familiarity with a range of user research methods (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, card sorts, surveys, ethnographic studies)
- Strong analytical skills with examples of the ability to synthesize data and extract actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for understanding user behavior and designing products that solve real-world problems

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with research tools like UserTesting, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, Alchemer, or similar
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or basic statistical software
- Basic understanding of design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience with remote research methods and tools
