**What this job involves**:
Putting safety protocols in place
As an industry leader, JLL not only thinks of ways to optimise a workplace—we also make sure that everybody in there is safe and risk-free. That’s why we’re on the lookout for an effective EHS manager who will help the client in implementing and managing the Company’s safety management system across the region.

As the person in charge, you’ll see to it that both national and local safety standards are religiously followed in all of our clients’ multisite portfolios. Aside from these, you’ll be on top of designing and enforcing risk management strategies; as well as providing reports on the adoption of safety protocols.

You’ll also be the go-to person for all things related to workplace safety. In this role, you’ll provide valuable insights and technical advice on mitigating risks. You’ll also organise and roll out effective communication plans for the region. Performing routine inspections, reviews and audits is part of your mandate, too.

Supporting our teams across APAC
Are you a staunch supporter of collaborative work and team effort? If so, this is the perfect role for you. As the person in charge, you’ll work closely with site teams to ensure that our safety measures and procedures are adhered to. Likewise, you’ll constantly collaborate with our account teams to identify opportunities for improvement, and determine cost-effective ways in implementing our safety standards.

Also part of your scope is to build good working relationship with our clients and contractors. In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with facilities managers in handling key external and internal stakeholders. You’ll also support our procurement team in selecting contractors, and ensuring that these approved experts follow safety standards in place.

Key Responsibilities

**Including but not limited to following**:
Regional implementation of HSS (Health, Safety & Sustainability) management processes, but providing support to global processes as well
Manage regional HSS (Health, Safety & Sustainability) Forums/ committees
See to it that both local and national standards are religiously followed in client’s location
Support global team to implement HSS tools in India site by training employees
Handle key stakeholders who have an impact w.r.t implementation of HSS initiatives, policies and procedures
Support to achieve Net Zero Emission operations by 2030 for client,
Help global team to implement sustainability initiatives in India site
Support to achieve IMS certification (ISO14001 and ISO45001) for the client
To consider, recommend and develop other Sustainability related goals as appropriate
Support local team in terms of local events w.r.t HSS
Regionally source, deliver and maintain any H&S related equipment or supplies as may be necessary in partnership with Corporate Services
Establish and maintain regional risk assessments to identify possible H&S exposure. Implement control measures identified in such assessments to reduce exposure for the business as far as reasonably practicable
Periodically audit company H&S policies, procedures and performance
Prepare and support the delivery of any H&S related management reports as may be required by the organisation
Maintain records to demonstrate regulatory compliance and provide a basis for continuous improvement in organisational H&S performance
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as may be requested by senior management
Experience and Qualifications Required
Certified expert in HSS- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health and/or Sustainability
Working as a sustainability expert with a work experience of at least 3-5 years
