Optimus is looking for an experienced Project Owner to join our team in India who can provide leadership for multiple projects.. We provide flexibility to team members to work from a place of their choice. Since it is a remote work based opportunity, you should have proper infrastructure at your place of work.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Own the delivery of 3-5 projects
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within the allocated budget, meeting quality expectations, and meeting the monthly billing targets
- Understand the business context of the project - why is the client doing this work? What does the client want to accomplish? How will the outcome be accomplished?
- Provide technical and thoughtful leadership in the project in hands on manner
- Validate migration motivations, migration plan, landing zone architecture, and TCO
- Prepare, monitor, and control the project plan
- Identify and manage project risks
- Identify and manage project issues
- Ensure smooth and accurate written and verbal communication with clients
- Prepare or validate weekly status report that is circulated to all clients
- Monitor projects for any adverse issues, raise internal alarm, and coordinate resolution
- Ensure that the migration projects follow Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework
- Follow industry best practices
- Troubleshoot project related issues and coordinate resolution
- Support team members to be successful in their role

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Four-year Computer Science degree with a strong academic background

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in migration projects to Microsoft Azure
- Azure Certifications - ideally AZ-305 or equivalent
- Good understanding of Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well Architected Framework
- Ability to understand client requirements and design the appropriate Azure Landing Zone
- Ability to identify the appropriate migration approach, tools, and plans
- Knowledge of various Azure services
- Working experience in creating and maintaining build and release pipelines for the various development projects and select necessary tooling
- Setup Azure infrastructure including Azure VM creation, Azure Networking, Firewalls, Load Balancing, and Network Security Groups, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Test plan and Azure Artifacts.
- Automate the build and release processes with various scripting and templating with Azure Templates, CLI and PowerShell cmdlets
- Setup Application Monitoring, Dashboard and Reporting.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization and containerization
- Strong reviewing proficiency
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to quickly pick up new technologies
