**Installation and Assembly**:

- Assemble and install machinery, conveyors, and production equipment as per specifications.
- Set up mechanical components and ensure proper alignment and functioning.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in machines and resolve breakdowns promptly.
- **Inspection and Monitoring**:

- Regularly inspect machinery for wear, tear, or defects.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure smooth operations.
- **Adherence to Food Safety Standards**:

- Ensure that maintenance activities comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment after repairs or maintenance to prevent contamination.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Report recurring issues to supervisors for process improvements.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production and quality teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Support installation and modification of new equipment as needed.

**Qualifications for an ITI Fitter RoleEducational and Technical Background**:

- **Minimum Qualification**:

- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Fitter Trade.
- **Preferred**:

- Additional certifications in machine maintenance or welding (if applicable).

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment used in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and machine manuals.
- Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and gear systems.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and standards in the food industry.

**Soft Skills**:

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail for identifying mechanical faults.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Good time management to handle maintenance schedules effectively.
