Bim Architect

Job Title: BIM Architect

**Job Description**:
A BIM Architect will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Develop a 3D schematic and detailed models for structure, interior and exterior architectural elements, and building systems like mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. This may include developing parametric models that are client specific or a vadsoft library requirement.

2) Produce layout drawings or fabrication drawings for the above created models.

3) Perform BIM coordination amongst different building systems using tools like Navisworks, BIM 360

Glue, BIM Track etc. Run BIM enabled coordination meetings between different trades (MEPF, Skin,

Structures, Interiors, and Site). Produce clash detection reports and notify the different trade teams.

4) Prepare Shop Drawings on basis of the 3D models for concrete modeling

5) Prepare, monitor and update 4D simulations of Schedules for project tracking through Synchro

6) Perform Quality Control Checks on the Models to verify:

- Accuracy with regards to Design & Construction Documents
- Perfect Modeling of all Geometry along with its size & location
- Model rationality: Error free model, no duplication of information, highlighting omitted data, etc.

7) Change Analysis and change management through BIM 360 or Bluebeam Studio

8) Use Model for Schedules, Quatity analysis & Cost tracking

9) Maintain RFI’s and Change Orders.

10) Ability to use BIM for various purposes like:

- Facilities Management
- Costing and progress tracking

11) Resolve constructability issues

12) Generated Surface Model from Laser Scan point cloud data.

13) Ability to capture as-built information from equipment like Total Station or Laser Scanning Faro.

14) Ability to export points from models for it to be used for field layout purposes

Skills and Qualifications requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, structural and civil construction documents and ability to read them effectively.
- Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of construction management issues
- Ability to work independently and connecting the dots to find an appropriate solution
- Excellent listening, learning & communication skills.
- A good Team player
- Honest and diligent in one’s work
- 2+ year experience in Revit Suite of products (Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP)
- 2+ year experience in Navisworks
- 2+ year experience in AutoCAD based products (AutoCAD architecture, AutoCAD MEP)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm

First and 3rd Saturday of each month: 9.30am to 6.30pm

Working hours may extent upon deadlines, workload & individual task completion time
