**Job Description: Backend Developer Intern (Paid Internship)**

**Position**: Backend Developer Intern
**Duration**: 6 Months (Full-Time)
**Working Days**: Monday to Friday
**Compensation**: Paid Internship
**Certification**: Certification provided upon successful completion of the internship
**Stipend**: Stipend for this internship ranges from ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month, depending on the role and skill-set.

**Eligibility Criteria - Backend Developer Intern**
- **Education**: Must have completed or be pursuing **B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT)**.
- **CGPA Requirement**: Minimum **8.0+ CGPA**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in **MongoDB** (Database design, CRUD operations, indexing).
- Strong understanding of **Express.js** (Middleware, routing, REST APIs).
- Hands-on experience with **React.js** (Components, state management, hooks).
- Knowledge of **Node.js** (Asynchronous programming, event loop, API development).
- **Additional Skills**:

- Experience with **Git/GitHub** for version control.
- Familiarity with **HTML, CSS, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS)**.
- Understanding of **RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)**.
- **Commitment**: Must be available for a **full-time 6-month internship** in Bengaluru (Monday to Friday).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Interview Mode**: Only face-to-face interviews will be conducted; online interviews will not be considered.

- **Node.js** (Asynchronous programming, event loop, API development)
- **Express.js** (Middleware, routing, REST API development)
- **MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL** (Database design, CRUD operations, indexing)
- **AWS Services** (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, API Gateway)
- **Authentication mechanisms** (JWT, OAuth)
- **Git & GitHub** (Version control, code collaboration)

**Additional Skills (Good to Have)**:

- Understanding of **Docker & CI/CD Pipelines**:

- Experience in **Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ** for message queues
- Basic knowledge of **TypeScript**

**Key Responsibilities:Backend Development**:

- Develop and maintain **scalable RESTful APIs** using **Node.js and Express.js**.
- Design and optimize **database schemas** for efficient performance.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security practices.

**Cloud & Deployment**:
**Collaboration & Version Control**:

- Work in an **Agile development** environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Use **Git & GitHub** for code versioning, branching, and peer code reviews.

**Testing & Debugging**:

- Perform **unit and integration testing** to ensure software reliability.
- Debug and optimize backend performance to improve system scalability.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed documentation of **API specifications, system architecture, and deployment processes**.
