**Job Description - Home CookPosition**

**Title**: Home Cook with servant

**Location**: Ahmedabad

**Working Hours**: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM (with meal and rest breaks)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare **fresh, healthy, and vegetarian meals** for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Cook **Gujarati, North Indian, and light continental/diet food (soups, salads, juices, etc.)** as per family preference.
- Maintain **taste, hygiene, and cleanliness** in the kitchen.
- Plan weekly menus and inform in advance about grocery needs.
- Handle gas stove, mixer, utensils, and ensure proper cleaning after every meal.
- Supervise the house servant for kitchen cleaning and serving assistance.
- Occasionally prepare snacks, tea, or beverages for guests.
- Keep track of fridge and food stock, ensuring freshness and avoiding wastage.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **3 years of experience** as a home cook in a family or private residence.
- Knowledge of **pure vegetarian cooking** and basic diet-friendly dishes.
- Neat, disciplined, and polite behavior.
- Must be **honest, punctual, and maintain cleanliness.**:

- Basic understanding of Gujarati or Hindi.

**Home Cleaning**: Daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, and keeping rooms tidy.
- **Utensil Cleaning**: Wash all plates, glasses, and kitchen utensils after meals.
- **Clothing**: Wash, dry, fold, and iron family clothes neatly.
- **Support Cook**: Assist cook in cutting vegetables, cleaning kitchen, and serving meals when required.
- **Bathroom & Toilet Cleaning**: Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of all bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of balcony, floor, and common areas.
- Keep all household cleaning items organized (detergents, mop, brush, etc.).
