**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **comprehensive financial updates** to senior management by analyzing and reporting key financial data.
- Develop, implement, and maintain **financial controls, policies, and procedures** to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee **budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning** to support business objectives.
- Maximize **purchasing efficiency** through process improvements and cost optimization.
- Assist in developing and supporting **short
- and long-term operational strategies**.
- Maintain **internal safeguards** for revenue receipts, expenses, and company budgets.
- Establish **financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards** in coordination with the CFO.
- Ensure compliance with **national and local accounting regulations**, staying updated on proposed legislation.
- Strengthen **internal controls** to protect company assets, policies, and workflows.
- Provide dynamic **leadership to the accounting team**, fostering a culture of trust and productivity.
- Liaise with **banks, lenders, and external/internal auditors** to ensure smooth financial operations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- **10+ years** of professional accounting experience, with a strong background in financial management.
- In-depth understanding of banking processes, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll, budgeting, and tax compliance.
- Proven track record in financial project management and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, policies, and best practices.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Bachelor’s degree** (or equivalent) in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **10+ years** of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance role.
- Professional certification such as **CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant)**.
