The Retail Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) Group is a newly formed team within Global Consumer Risk Management, whose focus is to support the Global Retail CRO as sponsor of the Advanced RWA models. This includes partnering with independent risk model oversight to evaluate the adequacy and quality of the data used in the models, evaluation of the end-to-end process to produce and review results, identification of gaps, and establishment of governance, controls and standards in alignment with the Capital Management Transformation effort. This group will also perform similar functions for Standardized RWA, including controls and independent review and challenge.

**Responsibilities**:
Citi is continuing to strengthen its RWA processes and the individual in this role will be part of this firmwide effort. The role holder will be an analytical lead reporting to the Director of Retail RWA Oversight and will be expected to:
Collaborate with model reviewers and developers on assessment of data, segmentation, variable selection.
Oversee model documentation, ongoing performance assessments (supporting sponsor); execute MCA activities supporting sponsor
Lead documentation of end-to-end RWA process including, but not limited to, data flows, systems, handshakes, controls, and gaps
Write documentation of control standards and frameworks
Work with stakeholders to manage identified data issues, system issues, modeling issues/ limitations and process issues, including root cause analyses, preparation of options/solutions to resolve issues, participate in Business Requirements and UAT
Manage RWA results review process, working with Finance, Capital Management, Data Teams, and Business stakeholders
Analyze observations, trends, attributions around Retail RWA, prepare presentations and address follow ups

**Qualifications**:
This individual must possess technical and quantitative skills, sound knowledge of consumer credit risk management and demonstrate familiarity with Basel capital adequacy models, and know-how of the global systems and data. This individual must be able to grasp the vision/roadmap of senior management, to distill to necessary analyses that will drive decision-making. This individual will also interface with cross-functional teams within Infrastructure and IT groups, Risk and Reporting, policy teams and businesses to design, test and deploy standards and conduct monitoring of the proper usage. Qualifications include:
Advanced Degree (Masters) in Statistics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
10-12 years of work experience, with 7+ years of experience in an analytical capacity required
Demonstrated experience in development and/or implementation of technology infrastructure, RWA, stress testing, or model risk management processes
Understanding of Consumer Credit Profit & Loss Drivers preferred
Strong writing skills - ability to structure and write standards and manage governance documents
Experience with Statistical Tools (Python, R, SAS, SQL, Model Builder, Xeno, Knowledge Studio)
Detailed-oriented, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownership.
Ability to present credibly to both large and small groups
Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to distill problem objectives into practical analyses to enable decision making
Flexibility to work well with varying personal styles and act as a trusted partner by delivering superior service that is meaningful
Takes personal responsibility to lead by example. Understands and appreciates diverse backgrounds and demonstrates strong ethics.
Develops strong relationships across risk management and cross-functionally
