**Legal Associate - Global Legal Team**

Gurgaon, Haryana, India

Legal Associate that will provide legal assistance to AXA XL’s Legal team globally. As a Legal Associate you will be responsible for coordinating records of AXA XL’s legal entity subsidiaries and branches for internal reporting and record keeping, with specific responsibility for AXA’s Galaxy data tool, and providing support to the Global Legal team in respect of business-as-usual tasks.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Coordinating the collection, updating, verification, and entry of information on a quarterly and annual basis with members of AXA XL’s Global Legal Team for all of AXA XL’s legal entities and branches.
- Assisting with English language non-disclosure agreements, negotiation, and monitoring.
- Supporting internal reporting and record keeping, including signing authorities for legal entities
- Supporting local legal counsel with administrative tasks where required.
- Assisting with other business-as-usual tasks presented by the legal team.
- You will report to Senior Legal Counsel based in India.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Degree level qualification in Law or semi-qualified company secretary or equivalent.
- Work experience of 2 to 4 years.
- Familiarity with electronic records systems and willingness to understand and utilize AXA XL’s information systems.
- Ability to train others in systems and processes.
- Excellent written and collaborative communication.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- An ability to work self-directly and on your initiative whilst being part of a wider team.
- Ability to prioritize conflicting needs and progress matters expeditiously, and proactively and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with good decision-making capability.
