**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: Edit raw footage into finished films, videos, or commercials according to the script or project requirements.
- **Storytelling**: Shape the narrative by selecting, cutting, and arranging scenes to create an engaging and cohesive story.
- **Collaborate with the Team**: Work closely with directors, producers, sound engineers, and other departments to ensure the video aligns with the creative direction.
- **Sound and Visual Effects**: Integrate sound, music, and visual effects to enhance the overall production.
- **Review and Feedback**: Incorporate feedback from directors and other stakeholders and make necessary revisions to the video.
- **Color Correction & Grading**: Perform color correction and grading to enhance the visual quality of the footage.
- **Export and Finalize**: Export and render the final video in the appropriate format for distribution (online, TV, theaters, etc.).
- **Organization**: Maintain an organized archive of all project files and assets.
- **Meet Deadlines**: Ensure timely delivery of the final product while meeting project deadlines.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience** as a video editor in film, television, or digital media.
- **Proficiency in video editing software**, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
- **Strong understanding of video production processes** including sound editing, color correction, and visual effects.
- **Creative mindset** with a passion for storytelling and visual design.
- **Attention to detail** and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors in footage.
- **Excellent communication skills** and ability to collaborate with a creative team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Basic knowledge of motion graphics** and experience with After Effects or similar software is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **3D modeling/animation** or other advanced video editing techniques.
- Knowledge of **film history** and various genres.
- Experience working on **feature films, TV shows, documentaries, or commercials.**

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or related field (preferred but not required).
