**Freelance Video Editor - Job Description**

**Position**: Freelance Video Editor
**Location**: Work from Home
**Type**: Project-based
**Industry**: Media / Non-profit / Spiritual & Cultural Content.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for reels, YouTube, and promotional content
- Work on projects like temple tour videos, annadaan seva highlights, interviews, and event recaps
- Add subtitles, background music, sound effects, and smooth transitions
- Color grade and enhance video quality
- Collaborate with the content and social media team to align visuals with messaging and goals
- Deliver edits on time and be open to feedback and revisions

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Basic knowledge of color grading, audio syncing, and sound mixing
- Strong storytelling sense—able to create emotional and engaging narratives
- Familiarity with vertical (Reels/Shorts) and horizontal (YouTube) formats
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Bonus: Experience editing spiritual, cultural, or devotional content

**Portfolio Requirements**

Please provide links to previous work—especially reels, event videos, or documentary-style edits.
