Located in Brisbane, Austral Accountants offers services to all tax and accounting matters at a friendly price The organization consists of advisory, tax and business accountant teams who together make it the perfect option in terms of expertise and dynamic thinking.

The individual we are looking for needs to be proactive with the ability to manage competing work priorities and meet company deadlines. He/she will also need to understand the importance of using initiative and drive to continuously strive for best outcomes and solutions.

Perform day to day accounting functions across the business including but not limited to:

- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Preparation of Financial accounts/statements
- Preparation of BAS
- Payroll /PAYG /Tax Preparation for onshore and offshore staff
- Monthly journals and account reconciliations

**Requirements**:

- 10 years working experience in the Accounting/Finance field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Australian Tax Law
- Excellent English proficiency
- Degree in Accounting/Higher Qualification in Accounting/Member of an Accounting Professional Body
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, MYOB Online and Xero
- Suitable arrangements for a “work from home” setup
- Must work according to Australian time.
