- Is able to make objective tradeoffs among various cloud providers
- Past experience building distributed systems (micro-services based architecture) that are high performing, scalable and extensible
- Has driven best practices for architects, developers, quality engineering and dev ops
- Good grasp of emerging technologies and their applicability in solutions and products
- Has collaborated across organizational boundaries and driven concrete business goals
- Has built teams (both freshers and experienced) over a long period of time.
- Has engaged with customers directly and in diverse geography/domains
- Is skilled at influencing inside and outside the organization - is a natural leader with a high degree of credibility
- Good to have:

- IPs or patents filed
- Technology industry recognized speaker and influencer
- Has contributed to open source
- Publications
