We are looking for people with minimum 7 Years of experience into buying for the role of Deputy Buyer role for Women's western wear category for Mumbai location.

PFB the JD:

- Ensures that merchandising team released the PO (Purchase Order) on time.
- Executes buying strategies of the respective external brands handled to achieve the sales (Budget Achievement & growth %) and margin (Intake & Rupee margin %) targets.
- Conducts meetings with multiple brand partners / vendors, if required seeks approval from the seniors on the decision points. During critical times, the seniors assist in meetings.
- Conducts negotiation of contracts with multiple brand partners / vendors, seeks approval from seniors, if required.
- Researches on current trends via online hits on benchmarked brand, surveys and fashion gatherings.
- Executes the selection process to ensure a competitive product range.
- Executes base stock management in collaboration with the merchandiser.
- Provides correct product information for the month to Visual Merchandising / projects team to help them plan & build the wall & fixture and store space, if required.
- Co-ordinates with brand partners / vendors / stores / merchandiser to get products in a timely manner in the stores.
- Conducts Return to Vendor (RTV) management across all the stores.
- Liaisons with Finance & accounts team to ensure timely payments & resolves reconciliation issues, if any.
- Liaisons with Legal/Finance & Accounts/Logistics team during contract formation, revenue generation or other areas of work.
- Assists in new store openings in collaboration with the projects / operations / brand partners team.
- Visits stores/ competition stores to ensure customer delight, to understand new trends & competitors product
