**Financial Planner**

**Responsible for providing holistic financial planning to clients**

**Role Description**
- **Help clients understand their personal finance by**:

- o Setting up meetings / calls with prospective clients and on-boarding them
- o Engaging with them over the phone, skype and/or in-person meetings to understand their financial goals, current financial position, cash flows etc.
- **Enabling them to get to a better place and fund their goals by**:

- o Drawing-up a detailed financial plan
- o Doing asset allocation across long-term and short-term goals, into appropriate asset classes of equity and debt
- o Comprehensively document interactions and the advice being provided
- **One or more of these certifications completed and currently valid**:

- o Investment Adviser X-A and X-B certifications from NISM, or
- o Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from FPSB, or
- o Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute
- **Academic qualifications and experience of either of these**:

- o A bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with five years work experience in financial advisory, asset management or portfolio management, with ideally at least one year’s experience in financial planning; or
- o A post-grad (master’s) degree or professional degree (MBA) in any of these fields: finance, accounting, management, commerce, economics, capital markets, banking, insurance or actuarial sciences, which includes at least a year of financial planning experience
- ** Excellent English communication skills, and preferably, one additional language
