Key responsibilities of a CNC plasma operator include:

- **Machine Setup**:

- Loading and unloading metal sheets onto the cutting table.
- Selecting the appropriate plasma torch and consumables based on material type and thickness.
- Adjusting machine parameters like cutting speed, amperage, and gas pressure.
- **Programming and Cutting**:

- Interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to create cutting paths using CNC software.
- Nesting parts efficiently on the material to minimize waste.
- Operating the CNC machine to execute the programmed cutting path.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspecting cut parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface quality.
- Identifying and correcting any cutting defects.
- **Maintenance**:

- Performing routine cleaning and lubrication of the plasma cutting machine.
- Monitoring consumables like nozzles and electrodes, replacing as needed.
- Reporting any machine malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- **Safety**:

- Adhering to all safety procedures related to plasma cutting, including proper PPE usage.
- Ensuring the work area is clean and organized.

Skills and knowledge required for a CNC plasma operator:

- Understanding of CNC programming principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of different metal materials and their cutting characteristics
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality control standards
- Basic computer skills

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
