We are a visionary womenswear fashion brand in its developmental stages. To ensure our vision becomes a reality, we seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to play a vital role in our manufacturing process.

**About the Role**:
We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to collaborate directly with our founder, to bring ideas to life and turn them into comprehensive and precise tech packs, patterns, and samples. Your expertise in fashion design and technology will be instrumental in bringing our creative vision to life and ensuring seamless communication with our manufacturing partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate directly with the founder to understand the creative vision and design concepts for each garment.
- Create detailed in-depth tech packs for our fashion products, including sketches, measurements, grading rules, construction details, materials, and trims.
- Create patterns for garments (Note: Only applicable for designers with experience and expertise in pattern-making)
- Lead the sampling process. Address any design-related queries or challenges during the production process in coordination with our founder and technical team.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and production techniques to incorporate innovative and sustainable elements into the designs.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed within designated deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with creating tech packs for fashion brands, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and technical design principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for creating tech packs, such as Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in measurements and specifications.
- Knowledge about fabrics, sourcing, and manufacturing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of social media trends and how they influence fashion aesthetics
- Strong Personal Style and Aesthetic

Projects
- (a) Ideation and tech packs + sampling

(b) Pattern making + tailor-client coordination

(c) Part-time/Full-time role of in-house graphic designer (post-launch)

Since our requirements are dynamic we'd like to speak to you about compensation in person, depending on our requirements and your skill level.

Since our brand is in development stages, we are open to long-term collaborations and potential full-time positions at this brand.
