**We are looking for someone who can...**
- own graphics and animations for interactive, gamified experiences for students (themes, avatars, badges, power-ups, etc); and in-product visuals (iconography, product explainer abstractions, empty states, etc).
- work across the product organization and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and PMs to understand the context and objectives of the project, brainstorm ideas, and execute.

**What makes this role interesting?**

As designers, we get how boring it gets to just stick to one aesthetic for a long time because everything needs to be “brand aligned”. Given the nature of the interactive experiences we work on - you will get many opportunities to go wild with your imagination and explore new aesthetics. One day you could be working on a cute Dog theme, and the next day you could be working on a cyberpunk aesthetic game.

**What makes this role challenging?**

Since this role is about working across the product org i.e. with product folks placed in different teams where the work of one team is detached from another - we anticipate that there will be periods of intense work followed by periods of downtime, and also periods where there’s just the right amount of work.

**Requirements**:
**Deliverables** - Graphics and animations in raster and vector for the web.

**Collaboration** - Conduct brainstorming and design review sessions; document design decisions, rules, and systems.

**Tools** - We don’t care what tools are used as long as the desired outcome is achieved without trading off on speed and quality.
But here’s our tech stack just in case...
- Adobe Creative Cloud for visual design.
- Figma for interface design.
- Coda for documentation.
