Role: Legal Intern

Location: Pune, India (remote working possible)

Fixed term role : 12 months

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters related to software products and services, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
- Manage legal projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Draft and review legal agreements, including licensing, nondisclosure, and vendor agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues related to software products and services, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
- Assist with regulatory compliance matters related to software products and services, including data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal matters related to product development and marketing, with a particular focus on data privacy matters.
- Provide support for corporate governance matters, including drafting board resolutions and maintaining corporate records.

**Requirements**:

- Recent graduate or about to graduate with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from a reputable institution in India.
- Excellent English skills, including writing and reading.
- Skilled in using MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Highly organized and structured, with strong project management skills.
- Good team player, social, and with a good sense of humor.
- Affinity with data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with legal issues related to software products and services is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
