1.Prepare and cook South Indian dishes such as dosa, Benne dosa, idli, vada, upma, and other breakfast/snack varieties.
2.Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation across all items.
3.Manage raw materials efficiently and minimize wastage.
4.Assist in daily inventory checks and coordinate with the kitchen manager for supplies.
5.Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
6.Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly (tawa, fryer, grinder, burners, etc.).
7.Guide and Support team members during peak hours and contribute to a positive work environment.
Required Skills & Experience
1.Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in South Indian cuisine (hotel, café, or catering background preferred).
2.Strong knowledge of dosa, idli, many types of chutneys, sambar, and filter coffee preparation.
3.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4.Team player with good communication and hygiene practices.
5.Basic understanding of kitchen safety, fire safety, and food handling.
