- **Cost Calculation**:Develop detailed cost sheets for jewelry items, incorporating raw materials (gold, silver, precious stones), labor, manufacturing overheads, and waste.
- **Cost Analysis**:Conduct cost variance analysis to identify deviations from standard costs and understand their financial impact.
- **Pricing Strategy**:Provide insights into cost structures to support the development and optimization of pricing strategies to ensure profitability.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with procurement to manage raw material costs and with production teams to understand labor and overhead expenses.
- **Profitability**:Analyze financial data to assess the profitability of various jewelry lines and contribute to overall financial performance.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, especially concerning volatile raw material prices like gold and silver.
- **Reporting**:Generate reports on cost structures, financial performance, and trends to inform management decisions.
- **Inventory Management**:Support accurate inventory valuation, which is crucial for accurate costing.
