**Title: Talent Analytics - Business Intelligence
**About GLOBALFOUNDRIES**

**Summary of Role**:
The business intelligence analyst will join a growing talent analytics team that is responsible for building out new sophisticated talent insights for our organization, teams, and individuals to measure our talent efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights to support decision-making within an organization.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
**Data Visualization**:Design and develop visually compelling and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI. Transform raw data into clear, insightful, and actionable visual representations that facilitate understanding and decision-making.

**Data Integration and Modeling**:Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, into Power BI. Model and shape data to create a consolidated and unified view for analysis and reporting.

**Report Development**:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI reports. Design and build reports that provide relevant insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives.

**Data Governance and Security**:Ensure data governance and security standards are implemented and followed in Power BI. Define and enforce access controls, data refresh schedules, and data source connections to maintain data integrity and compliance.

**Collaboration and Training**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT professionals, to understand their data requirements and provide Power BI solutions. Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to empower end-users to utilize Power BI effectively.

**Performance Optimization**:Identify opportunities for performance optimization in Power BI reports and dashboards. Implement best practices for data modeling, report design, and data refresh to improve performance and user experience.

**Stay Updated with Power BI**:Keep abreast of the latest features, updates, and advancements in Power BI. Explore new functionalities and techniques to leverage the full potential of Power BI for data visualization and analysis

**Required Qualifications**:
**Power BI Proficiency**:Strong hands-on experience in creating and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models. In-depth knowledge of Power BI capabilities, including data connectivity, transformations, DAX calculations, and visualizations.

**Data Analysis and Visualization Skills**:Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques. Ability to translate complex data into meaningful and visually appealing insights that drive decision-making.

**Data Integration and Modeling**:Familiarity with data integration concepts and ETL processes. Experience in data modeling, schema design, and data preparation for analysis in Power BI.

**SQL and Database Knowledge**:Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Understanding of relational databases and data structures to efficiently extract and transform data for analysis in Power BI.

**Business Acumen**:Understanding of business processes, objectives, and industry dynamics. Ability to align data visualizations with business goals and provide meaningful insights that address key business challenges.

**Communication Skills**:Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey data insights and reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Problem-Solving Abilities**:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements, identify data-driven solutions, and address challenges in data visualization and analysis.

**Collaboration**:Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including business users, data engineers, and IT professionals.

**Continuous Learning**:A mindset of continuous learning and staying updated with the latest features, functionalities, and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Years of experience required with Bachelor degree 7-10 years/master's 6-8 years.
