**Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff, maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology resources. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to IT support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, resolving issues remotely or onsite as needed.
- **Hardware and Software Installation**:

- Set up new workstations for employees and ensure that all necessary software and tools are installed and functioning properly.
- **Network Maintenance**:

- Monitor and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform network diagnostics and repairs as needed.
- **System Upgrades and Maintenance**:

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure the security and reliability of IT systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, disk cleanup, and performance optimization.
- **User Training and Documentation**:

- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT-related topics, including software usage, best practices, and security protocols.
- Create and maintain documentation, manuals, and knowledge base articles for IT systems and procedures.
- **Security Management**:

- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and infrastructure.
- Monitor for security breaches and malware threats, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that service level agreements are met.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Software troubleshooting: 4 years (preferred)
