Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The individual will be involved in a number of capital related activities, including but not restricted to:

- Integration of Tesco for Day 1 reporting and calculation.
- Calculation and external/internal reporting for Tesco (BUK - Unsecured).
- Supporting capital related projects both for the benefit of Reg CAP TC and its stakeholders as well as for compliance with prudential regulation;
- Review and communication of regulatory changes and working with the various team in terms of identifying impacts and aiding in the buildout of the new regulations
- Supporting capital related process reviews across the risk types, focusing on process efficiencies and the identification and implementation of control improvements;
- Involvement in assurance exercises for compliance and adherence to regulatory publications for consumer credit risk.
- Driving implementation of regulatory change and build of strategic infrastructure to aid automated calculation for regulatory reporting for Tesco especially with short term focus on Basel 3.1 implementation

What will you be doing?
- The role holder will be responsible for end to end integration reporting and calculation of Tesco (BUK - Unsecured) for Day 1 along with strategic integration and implementation for Day 2
- The role holder will be the key point of contact for all capital production management for Tesco calculation and reporting.

- Strong understanding of industry best practice in respect of risk tools and developments and of the regulatory environment (e.g. Basel) and be recognised as an authority on best practice.
- Experience of setting and directing the objectives and responsibilities of the team with demonstrable success in driving the team to deliver desired and timely outcomes to those objectives.
- A passion for developing talent, consistently facilitating constructive functional and personal development of others.
- Preferred Chartered Accountant/MBA or equivalent professional degree with strong track record in Regulatory Reporting covering latest Basel requirements
- Demonstrated experience with managing inside complex organizations.
- Strong Risk or Finance background with developed analytical, technical and/or operational skills.
- Able to advise and influence senior management and other colleagues.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Chartered Accountant/MBA with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical knowledge under Basel, PRA & EBA CRR and ability to interpret EBA Q&As, RTS and other regulatory Publication.
- Strong analytical track record and ability to work with multiple teams for delivery for key capital enhancements and track record of working on complex problems involving multiple business areas
- Strong track record of stakeholder management across multiple functions and grades
- Strong Regulatory Capital background with specific knowledge on Counterparty Credit Risk. Credit Risk and Market Risk.
