**About the Role**

We are looking for a motivated **Production Officer - Parent Seed** to join our **Field Crops** division. The role involves supporting the planning, execution, and quality assurance of parent seed production to meet organizational standards and targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in planning and execution of parent seed production activities.
- Monitor field operations to ensure genetic purity and quality standards.
- Coordinate with growers and farmers for effective crop management and compliance.
- Conduct field visits for inspection, rouging, and isolation checks.
- Maintain accurate records of field data and production progress.
- Assist in harvesting, processing, and post-harvest seed handling.
- Liaise with QA/QC teams for sampling and quality testing.
- Support training and provide technical guidance to contract growers.
- Ensure compliance with seed certification and regulatory norms.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Diploma / B.Sc. in Agriculture, Seed Science, or related field.
- **Experience**: 2-6 years of experience in seed production (preferably parent seed).
- **Skills**:

- Field monitoring and crop management
- Grower coordination and communication
- Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail
