**Compliance**:

- All legal compliance in place and measured, alignment with Agilent policy and procedure
- Country SPOC for export control compliances
- Extend support to business on RPL screenings and system holds, update export control team for order hold release after ensuring mandated authorizations
- Provide export control regulations training to internal functions and channel partners
- Provide guidance & assistance on import and export operations and in solving import and export regulatory problems relating to HTS classification and other related issues.
- Conduct due diligence reviews and identify potential customs and trade exposures, and suggest ways to rectify and mitigate risks.
- Conduct on-site compliance reviews of the business and implement compliance process improvements or new process establishments.
- Provide regular reporting of country compliance metrics. Assist in setting up regular self-audit programs.
- ** Operations**:

- Provide support on Imports & re-export/export clearance operations at Delhi/Bangalore locations
- Customs House Agents’ (‘CHA’) management & monitor standards of compliance performance; CHA working oversight including following:

- Ensure Custom clearance within agreed SLA
- Customs related account reconciliation and custom clearance report preparation
- Management of electronic and paper records
- Maintain customs information data base
- ** Supplier/Contract Management**:

- Serve as vendor program manager for Trade Operations/Customs Clearance agents
- Manage supplier agreements, costs & metrics and provide annual forecasts to business
- Vendor invoices processing against orders, cost allocations, tax bifurcations, reconciliations etc., conduct pre-checks before processing vendor invoices for payment, ensure timely submission, tracking, follow-ups with payables team & vendor reconciliations.
- Identify and implement best practice solutions for vendor and customs broker management.
- Customs Broker rationalization, perform transactional audit and integrity checks.
- Documented results/evidence of right Process/KPI/Internal Controls
- ** MIS**
- Prepare MIS and reporting to internal functions covering duty payments, savings report, goods in transit and yearly report required for statutory audits
- Management of GTS & DSR web tool, impart trainings on user interface, performance monitoring and issue resolution with IT teams
- ** Communication**
- Regulatory updates / changes - Proactive communication on government requirements and change in legislation
- All required country and company communication associated with Trade Operations
- ** Special Programs**
- Support programs and projects to take advantage of duty relief/savings programs
- Leverage on existing duty exemption / reduction programs including FTAs and management of COOs.
- ** Metrics**:

- Timely submission of MIS Reports
- No Fines and Penalties

Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.

Typically 7+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
