**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Supplier will perform activities, tasks, and functions required to, maintain and operate the WebSphere product environment, including:

- 1. Problem determination and resolution of WebSphere software problems.

2. Root cause analysis of WebSphere software outages

3. Providing communications regarding product End-of-Support dates and new product release features and General Availability

5. WebSphere log file rotation, pruning, and archiving

6. Identifying WebSphere software files/data sources and filesystems to be backed up as part of regular operating system/subsystem backups

7. WebSphere system software level recovery

8. Maintaining Operational Procedures for the purposes of the delivery of WebSphere operations.

9. Providing input to the required delivery support teams as needed in an effort to increase WebSphere software products’ availability and facilitate middleware system monitoring

10. Decommission activities related to managed products
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Specific Activities

1. Manage WebSphere clusters for high availability and scalability

2. Deploying SSL certificates as requested for all internal SSL communications

3. Generating and deploying WebSphere plugin to webservers

4. Administering the WebSphere configuration repository

Web and Proxy Servers - IBM HTTP Server
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

1. Installation of SSL certificates

2. Defining virtual hosts and other configurable items
