**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Performing installation and configuration of WMQ v.8 - v.9 on UNIX & Windows environment.

Implement MQ Clutering and Advanced messaging security

Must have expentive experience in handling MQ upgrades and Migration

Monitoring and maintaining WMQ objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, channels and listeners.

Solving issues related to WMQ version 6.0,7.0, 8.0 and 9.0.

Backup, recovery and upgrades of MQ objects.

Gain a solid grasp of the business process, workflows and data.

Assist in technical specifications and other deliverable documents. Implement appropriate monitoring, alerting and measurements to ensure the health of

our environment.

Develop and document disaster-recovery plans and participate in testing to ensure the environment is recoverable within pre-determined SLAs.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Minimum 9+ Years’ experience in WMQ version 6.0, 7.0 and above with expertise in installation, support, analysis of logs and performance tuning.

Demonstrable experience in installing and configuring of WMQ v.7 and above on UNIX environments.

Experience in monitoring Websphere MQ objects such as Queue Managers, Queues, channels and listeners.

Proficiency in troubleshooting on IBM Websphere MQ version 6.0,7.0 and 8.0, Backup and Recovery and upgrades of MQ and IIB objects.

Expertise in Disaster Recovery Activity and good knowledge on MQ clustering, MQ Backup and Recovery
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Must have 8-15 years of Experience

Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL). Familiarity with MQ securities like SSL and OAM.

cutting edge technologies

Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
