**Position Summary**

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual content for books, marketing materials, and digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand identity, as well as the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audiences.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Book Design & Layout**:

- Design covers, page layouts, illustrations, and infographics for print and digital publications.
- Ensure designs meet publishing standards, printing specifications, and brand guidelines.
- **Marketing & Promotional Materials**:

- Create eye-catching designs for social media, websites, brochures, posters, and event materials.
- Develop visuals for online campaigns and e-commerce product listings.
- **Brand Identity**:

- Maintain consistent visual branding across all products and platforms.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and enhance the visual identity of Morgan Publishing House.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with authors, editors, illustrators, and marketing teams to deliver creative solutions.
- Present design concepts for feedback and incorporate revisions effectively.
- **Production & File Management**:

- Prepare final print-ready and web-optimized files.
- Manage digital asset libraries and maintain organized project files.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in publishing or education-related industries.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and color theory.
- Experience with print production processes, including pre-press and proofing.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience designing for children’s books or educational content.
- Basic illustration skills or experience working with illustrators.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design for e-books and digital publications.
- Familiarity with photography editing and retouching.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,500.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
