We are looking for **Technical Assistant / AutoCAD technician **for a renowned Manufacturer of Cutting Tools.

Location-Ballygunge Circular Road

Salary upto 3.6Lpa

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drafting and Design: Create detailed technical drawings (2D) using AutoCAD software based on specifications, or instructions provided by engineer.
- CAD Software Expertise: Utilize AutoCAD software to generate 2D models, or renderings. Familiarity with advanced AutoCAD features, such as layers, blocks, hatches, and annotations, to create professional-quality drawings efficiently.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, diagram and masters.
- Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with engineers/ production team or other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements. Clarify design intent, seek feedback, and incorporate revisions into drawings as necessary. Communicate effectively to ensure accurate representation of design concepts.
- Drawing Modifications and Revisions: Review and revise existing drawings or designs based on feedback, change requests, or updated specifications. Update drawings to reflect modifications accurately and distribute revised documentation to relevant parties.
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical drawing files, ensuring version control, naming conventions, and appropriate storage. Retrieve and distribute drawings as required, both internally and externally.
- Drawing Standards and Best Practices: Stay updated with industry standards, guidelines, and best practices related to drafting and AutoCAD usage. Ensure compliance with company-specific drafting standards and contribute to the improvement of drafting processes and workflows.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CAD drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software with a strong understanding of its functionality and capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Solid knowledge of drafting techniques, symbols, and standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into precise technical drawings.
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information effectively.
- Familiarity with other design software or related tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles is advantageous.
- Experience in the industry or working on relevant projects is desirable.
- Portfolio showcasing previous CAD drafting work is beneficial.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
