Job Title: Food Technologist

Experience Required: 2-3 years

**Job Description**:
As a Food Technologist, you will be responsible for developing new food products, improving existing ones, and ensuring they meet regulatory standards. Your role will require you to work with a team of scientists, engineers, and marketing professionals to ensure that the product is manufactured, marketed, and sold successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop new food products from ideation to commercialization, including recipe development, prototyping, and sensory evaluations.

Improve existing food products by modifying recipes, ingredients, or manufacturing processes to optimize product quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Work with suppliers to source and evaluate raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.

Conduct research and development activities to identify emerging trends, technologies, and ingredients that could be used to improve product quality, safety, and profitability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure successful commercialization of new products.

Ensure that all products meet regulatory and safety standards, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and product stability testing to ensure product quality and safety.

Develop and maintain product specifications, recipes, and manufacturing instructions.

Conduct plant trials to test and optimize manufacturing processes.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.

2-3 years of experience in food product development, quality assurance, or food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of food science, ingredient functionality, and food safety.

Experience in sensory evaluation, statistical analysis, and shelf-life testing.

Experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software used in food product development and quality assurance.

Willingness to travel as needed for product development and plant trials.
