Responsible for the development of new sources for existing parts and also for new parts. Will coordinate with materials and QA to ensure timely supply of parts at right prices and of the right quality. Will consistently work towards improving the performance of vendors, value engineering and cost reductions.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
1) Plan, organize and develop new sources for existing parts and for new parts for new products,

2) Constantly look at reducing costs for existing parts ,

3) Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations.

4) Implement sourcing strategies and action plans to ensure that the vendors supports.

5) Encourage use of new techniques and focus on quality improvement of all parts procured,

6) Improve utilization of existing sources,

7) Help materials department at times of need in sorting out delivery, cost and quality issues with developed sources,

8) Manage spending against budget, controlling spending in relation to changes in development plans,

9) Assure that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered and that vendor grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.

10) Continually improve performance of vendors by addressing related issues,

11) Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest sourcing management concepts.

1) High energy level required.

2) Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities,

3) Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

4) Exposure to an ERP environment is a must.

5) Exposure to TPM, KHAIZEN and LEAN MANUFACTURING desired.

6) High integrity levels a must.

**Travel Requirement & Others**:

- Willingness to work across time zones / shifts
- Willingness to Travel

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
