**Position Overview**

The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all workplace safety standards, implementing effective safety protocols, and creating a culture of safety at the project site. This role demands vigilance, technical knowledge, and the ability to train and motivate the workforce to adopt safe work practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement and enforce site safety rules, policies, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct **daily safety inspections** and regular audits of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective measures.
- Maintain all safety records and documentation as per company and client requirements.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and client representatives on safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with PVUNL/NTPC safety guidelines and contractor safety procedures.

**Required Qualifications**
- **B.Tech in Safety Engineering** with **minimum**of **3 years** of relevant experience, **OR**:

- **Diploma in Engineering** with a **Safety Certification** and **minimum 5 years** of relevant experience.
- Certification in Industrial Safety is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of national safety standards, occupational health, and environmental guidelines.

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training and motivate the workforce.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
