Position Overview:
The Senior Project Coordinator is a key leadership role within the project management team. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of projects, ensuring their successful execution, and supporting project managers in achieving project objectives. The Senior Project Coordinator plays a critical role in managing project documentation, communication, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, meeting minutes, risk assessments, and other relevant records.
Team Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring everyone is informed about project status, responsibilities, and deadlines.
Resource Allocation: Assist in resource planning and allocation, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure resources are available as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and escalate risks as necessary to avoid potential project roadblocks.
Budget Tracking: Help track project budgets, expenses, and costs. Collaborate with finance or accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting in the implementation of project changes and managing the associated documentation.
Project Status Reporting: Generate regular status reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies. Implement best practices to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project coordinators and team members, fostering professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar project management role.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Travelling required through various sites: Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Vijayawada and other cities depending on the new projects.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project issues and propose solutions.
- Leadership skills to provide guidance and direction to project team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of project coordination tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
