A well known sea food company looking for quality control supervisor at Surat, Gujarat.

1. Check raw material temperature and icing upon arrival of Raw material (Temperature below 4.4 degree C and Ice fully covered). If not meeting the standards ,report to Production Manager/ share QC whats app group for follow up

2. Check Sodium Metal bisulphate level in the incoming raw material (Maximum acceptable level 80 ppm. Refer buyer spec for chages like no presence of SMBS). If the SMBS level is high, hold the lot and notify Production Manager for follow up

3. Prepare and share raw material inspection report and photos immediately after arrival of raw material ( Paper/Whats app group)

4. Collect lot wise sample, properly label and hand over the same to lab QC for internal lab/ External lab tests ( SMBS/ Antibiotic/Micro ) as required

5. Check the chlorination levels in hand dip, foot dip, processing water and glaze water at regular intervals, and to ensure that the same is within the prescribed limits. If not within limit, correct the same in coordination with Production Manager/Maintenance staff

6. For on line QC procedures, take at least one slab every 30 minutes for organoleptic inspection. Inspect the slabs against packing instruction (buyer spec) shared by Top Management and ensure the same is following. If any deviation is found, report the same to the line supervisor/production manager for corrective action. If no proper action from Line supervisor/ Production Manager, notify the same to Top Management through the QC whats app group

7. Ensure salinity of Brine freezer is correct and correct the salinity in coordination with Production Manager as and when necessary

8. Ensure freezer temperature is attaining minus 40 degree C before unloading and Check core temperature (Minus 18 degree or lower) of product at 30 minutes interval during unloading. Record data in Online QC log and share core temperature photos on QC Whats app group. If the core temperature is not attaining, report the same to Production Manager for necessary corrective actions

9. Ensure glaze water temperature at regular intervals and notify Production Manager for corrections if any

10. Check and Ensure glaze percent as per spec in glazed products and notify Production Manager for corrections if any

11. Ensure the correct labeling ( Traceability/ Barcode/ Grade etc) in master carton

12. Online /next day Finished product inspection confirm the frozen product meeting specifications.Ensure presence of production Manager during finished product inspection

13. Loading inspection - Ensure set temperature of container is less than minus 20 degree C or as required by buyers

14. Ensure all master cartons are properly labeled

15. Ensure temperature recorder is placed in containers/trucks as required

16. Read the temperature recorder and share the data ( if there is a deviation) to Top Management in internal transfers of frozen cargo
